Missouri Medicaid Chief Calling It Quits

The head of Missouri’s Medicaid program is retiring at the age of 52. Greg Vadner is leaving under the state’s early retirement program. He’ll help his wife run a spa in Jefferson City. Vadner has been with the state for 28 years. His career in the Social Services Department started when he applied for food stamps as an unemployed college graduate and wound up taking a job with the agency.
