Holden, Blunt, McCaskill Raising Big Bucks For Next Year’s Voting

Thirteen months before the state primary election, major candidates are stuffing money into their campaign accounts by the boatload. Governor Bob Holden has raised more than $600,000 in the last three months and now has $2-Million stashed away for a re-election bid. Possible primary challenger Claire McCaskill has raised more than $300,000 in the same three months and has about one-million dollars on hand. The apparent Republican favorite, Matt Blunt raised about one-half million dollars in the last quarter and has a warchest of more than $900,000.
