Missouri point guard Ricky Clemons was released from a Columbia Hospital yesterday and reported to the Boone County Jail. Clemons was admitted to the hospital on July 4th after flipping an ATV near the home of MU president Elson Floyd. The accident occurred hours after he was supposed to return to a halfway house, where he was serving a 60-day sentence for a false imprisonment charge against a former girlfriend. A judge revoked Clemons’ work release agreement after learning of Clemons’ probation violation. Clemons served 18 of the 60-day sentence at the halfway house. He’s currently serving a one-year suspension from the basketball team for his false imprisonment plea.
