A man who’s been impersonating St. Louis Blues Winger Keith Tkachuk has been arrested in Louisiana. Elander Mark Lachney was picked up on three counts of identity theft for trying to get credit cards in Tkachuk’s name. He was successful in attaining one card and had been using it. Lachney had three fake ID’s with his picture and the names of Tkachuk, Brian Leetch of the Rangers and Jeremy Roenick of the Flyers. Lachney was arrested 1995 and sent to jail in 1996 for impersonating Tkachuk when he played for the Winnipeg Jets, which later became the Phoenix Coyotes. That conviction was a felony and he’s being held without bail for violating terms of his parole from that offense.
