He’s been the NFL’s best running back over the last two seasons and Priest Holmes wants to be treated like it. Holmes told WHB radio in Kansas City yesterday that he wants a new contract or he’ll sit out. Holmes promises to be at training camp next week, but said if something isn’t worked out he’ll have no problem missing opening day on September 7th. Getting a deal wouldn’t be a problem if it weren’t for the question mark known as his injured hip. Holmes says he’s completely healed and expects to return to form.
