University of Missouri basketball player Ricky Clemons has been seriously hurt when an all-terrain vehicle overturned at the home of University President Elson Floyd. The accident could put him in jail. His lawyer says Clemons has some broken ribs, a punctured lung and serious lacerations to his chin and head. The Boone County prosecutor says Clemons might have violated his work-release program by going to a party at Floyd’s house. A judge will consider whether Clemons should go to jail because of that. He’s allowed out of a halfway house only for classes or other school-related activities after pleading guilty to charges of false imprisonment and third degree assault in an attack on a girlfriend.
