High winds have knocked down some trees and power lines in north Missouri, but the area has escaped extensive property damage. Heavy rains were included in some of that storm. St. Louis got more than 3.3-inches of rain Wednesday, a single-day record for a June 25th there, more than double the old record, set in 1876. St. Louis weather forecasters say this is the second-wettest June on record..More than 10.8 inches have fallen this month, just a hair behind the wettest June on the books.
