Bankrupt Farmland Industries has been given still another month to figure out how much of the money it owes creditors can be repaid. Farmland owes them $800-Million dollars. This is the fifth time Farmland has gotten more time to complete its bankruptcy plan. The company says negotiations for the rest of its pork business have reached a sensitive stage. Farmland Industries is based in Kansas City. It’s been shedding assets since filing for bankruptcy.
