The Goldenrod Showboat is back home. The historic ship has been towed to its former home port of downtown St. Louis after spending the last 13 years on the St. Charles riverfront. Officials in St. Charles decided, last month, to give the 94-year-old boat to Lewis and Clark Landing after no one offered to buy it. Lewis and Clark ownership says it hasn’t yet decided on the vessel’s eventual location. For now, though, it will be moored at a storage dock south of the Poplar Street Bridge.
