Zacheriah Tripp, the Gower teenager convicted of kidnapping, raping, and murdering a high school classmate, has been sentenced to two life terms plus 15 years. The sentences will run consecutively. Tripp is 17. He killed 15-year old Sarah Beth McCoy of Easton in December of 2001. Tripp was convicted in his second trial. The first trial ended in a hung jury.
