Time Running Out For Some To File For Disaster Assistance From Tornadoes

Southeast Missouri storm victims have been told they have until July 7th to ask the federal government for financial assistance. The Federal Emergency Management Agency says the help might be available for uninsured and under insured people hurt by the May storms. FEMA has an office that’s still open in Jackson. FEMA says more than six-thousand people have applied for disaster help. More than $23-Million has been approved to help them.
