Goaltender Chris Osgood will be back with the Blues next season. Osgood agreed to a one-year deal worth a reported $3-million. Osgood can make more money through a series of incentives written into the contract. He could have signed for more elsewhere but wanted to stay in St. Louis. In nine starts with the Blues, Osgood was 4-3-2 with a 3.04 goals against average. In other hockey news, former Blues goalie Grant Fuhr and St. Louis native Pat LaFontaine will be the only players inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame this year. Fuhr spent four seasons with St. Louis.
