Desi Relaford, Mike Sweeney, and Raul Ibanez also drove in runs on Tuesday. Starter Kyle Snyder left the game in the sixth inning with back spasms, forcing relieverJason Grimsley into action. He got the win in relief, making his 34th appearance, which leads the majors. The Royals moved back over .500 with the win and have a record of 31-30. They trail the Twins, who lost 5-0 to the Rockies, by three and a half games in the A.L. Central.
