Senator Talent Pushes Ethanol As Part Of Energy Policy

June 4, 2003 By admin Leave a Comment

Senator Jim Talent is joining U.S. Senators from other ethanol-producing states in talking up the benefits of grain-based alternative fuels. Talent has told his Capitol Hill colleagues that renewable fuels, such as ethanol, are an important part of America’s energy future. He says that while states such as California are reluctant to import ethanol from Missouri and other states that produce grain-based renewable fuels, it is preferable to importing oil from foreign countries. Missouri is home to two ethanol plants – one in Macon and the other in Craig.
