Missouri defensive end Nick Tarpoff will enter a plea on felony gun charges in Boone County Circuit court today. In February was arrested after police found a sawed-off shot gun in his Columbia home. Tarpoff was shot in the arm and claimed that a burglar shot him in a scuffle. He later admitted making up the story and said that he accidentally shot himself in the arm a handgun. Tarpoff, who was a sophomore last season, has been suspended indefinitely. He’s expected to plead guilty to lesser charges to avoid a trial.
