McGehee 25th At Indy, Wallace 12th At Concord, N.C.

May 26, 2003 By admin Leave a Comment

Robby McGehee of Chesterfield finished 25th in yesterday’s Indianapolis 500. His problems began early on when A.J. Foyt IV clipped him as cars scrambled to avoid Sarah Fischer’s wreck. McGehee had trouble with his alignment the rest of the day. McGehee was a last minute fill-in for Panther racing last week at qualifying. Gil De Ferran was the winner…Jimmy Johnson won the rain-shortened NASCAR race in Concord, North Carolina. St. Louis native Rusty Wallace finished twelfth, Jamie McMurray of Joplin was 25th, Ken Schrader of Fenton was 28th, Mike and Kenny Wallace were 31st and 42nd.
