CMSU Heading Back To D-II World Series

May 19, 2003 By admin Leave a Comment

The third-ranked Central Missouri State baseball team has advanced to the NCAA Division-II World Series for the fourth straight season. They accomplished the feat by beating Rockhurst 13-1 in the Central Region finals. Odessa, Missouri native Zach Norman was named the Region MVP as the Mules never needed a loser’s bracket game, winning all three they played. CMSU will face Grand Valley State in Montgomery, Alabama on Saturday. This is Central’s 11th trip to the Division-II World Series and their fourth in a row. Head Coach Brad Hill has gone seven of his nine seasons in Warrensburg. The Mules are 47-7.
