The SMS Bears will be the top seed in this week’s Missouri Valley Conference tournament after winning the league title this weekend. The Bears have won the regular season championship twice in the last three seasons. They’ll face sixth seeded Creighton in game one on Wednesday. SMS is 33-21 and finished 19-11 in the MVC…Missouri fell to Oklahoma 7-0 on Sunday, dropping their record to 34-18 on the season. Their 15-11 mark in the Big 12, earned them the fourth seed in this week’s conference tournament. The Tigers will face Baylor on Wednesday. It’s their first trip to the conference tourney in two years…Southeast Missouri State will be the second seed in the Ohio Valley Conference tournament. They’ll face fifth-seeded Eastern Kentucky. SEMO IS 30-18 and went 14-6 in the OVC.
