Missouri Basketball player Jason Conley will not miss any games. The NCAA said he would not be punished as a result of phone calls that were made to his mother before he was officially released from his scholarship at VMI. According to a report the Athletic Department sent to the NCAA, the calls were return calls to Conley’s mother and didn’t give Missouri any advantage in the recruiting process. Conley came to Mizzou in January after a year and a half at VMI. He averaged 29 points per game his freshman year, leading the nation. Any punishment the university receives is not expected to be extreme because the violations were deemed to be the result of misunderstanding the rules as opposed to deliberately breaking them.
