One of eight NCAA Division II Baseball Regionals is being held in Warrensburg this weekend. Yesterday it got underway with an afternoon game between Northwest Missouri State of Maryville and #28 Rockhurst of Kansas City. Rockhurst had their way with Northwest, posting a 16-3 victory. In the nightcap, #3 Central Missouri State beat Minnesota-Duluth 12-8. At 11:00 this morning, Northwest Missouri State and Minnesota Duluth will square off. The loser is eliminated and the winner will face the loser of the Central Missouri St. Rockhurst game. CMSU and Rockhurst go at 3 PM, while the elimination game gets underway at 7:00. #10 Missouri-St. Louis was rained out against Ashland University. They’ll try again today.
