We should be able to see a total eclipse of the moon tonight – weather permitting. In Missouri, it’ll start about three minutes after nine, land the moon should be in total eclipse at 10:14, and will stay that way for 53 minutes. We should be back to a full mone at 12:17 tomorrow morning. The Earth will be between the moon and the sun, causing the earth’s shadow to fall on the moon. It won’t be blacked out. It might be various shades of orange and red because of the sunlight refracting off the surface of the earth.
