The Missouri House and Senate have approved the major bill needed to plug a gap in the state budget approved by the Legislature last week. The House and Senate have approved a bill expected to generate $104-Million through various means. It does not include Governor Bob Holden’s proposals to increase taxes. The bill, combined with two others, is expected to generate $155-Million in additional revenue to plug the gap in the budget for next year.
