Ken Harvey did it again. For the second straight game, Harvey came through with the game-winning RBI, hitting a two-run single in the seventh inning of yesterday’s 8-5 win over the Orioles. The bases-loaded base hit broke a 3-3 tie. Brent Mayne and Angel Berroa also drove in runs in the seventh inning. Michael Tucker made it 8-3 with a homer in the ninth. With the exception of a two run homer in the ninth, Sean Lowe was steady in three innings of relief work to get his first win as a Royal. With the win, Kansas City leads Minnesota by two and a half games in the A.L. Central. The Royals and Twins open a four game set in the Metrodome tonight.
