It only lasted four innings, but there was enough offense for two games. The Cards led the Cubs 11-9 when their game at Wrigley was called for rain. None of the stats amassed in the early slug-fest will count. One outcome will remain, however. Outfielder/back up catcher Eli Marrero sprained his ankle and will be out for a while. St. Louis is off today as they return to Busch for a series against the Reds, which starts tomorrow.
