Rain and the threat of a tornado postponed the Royals game with the Orioles at Kauffman Stadium. They’ll make it up tonight with a double header. Mike Sweeney won’t be available for the next two or three days as he nurses a strained right hamstring. He left Wednesday’s game in the sixth inning. A sprained wrist also bothers him. Sweeney leads the Royals with seven homers and 26 RBI’s.
