The news Missouri basketball fans wanted to hear came yesterday. Rickey Paulding and Arthur Johnson announced that they would be back for their senior seasons. Paulding and Johnson, who both hail from Detroit, were number one and number two in scoring for Mizzou. Paulding averaged 17.4 points, 5.5 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game. Johnson scored 16.1 per contest, and grabbed a team-high 9.6 rebounds a game. Some NBA draft projections predicted Paulding going anywhere from the middle of the first round to the top of round two. Johnson was a projected second-round pick.
