Warning Against Con Artists Issued In Wake Of Tornadoes

May 6, 2003 By admin Leave a Comment

Missourians are being warned to watch out for con artists trying to take advantage of the storm damage in the state by offering bogus clean-up services. Laura Krasser with the Attorney General’s office says there are plenty of legitimate businesses out there that will provide real help. She advises people to get any work proposal in writing and not to be afraid to do some checking on the company. Krasser adds people should make sure they have contact information for any company in writing.
