Royals Trounced By White Sox

For the first time this season, the Kansas City Royals have a losing streak. Chris George gave up eight runs in four and two-thirds innings, including four home runs, in an 8-2 loss to Chicago. Carlos Lee delivered the final blow with a grand slam in the bottom of the fifth. White Sox starter Esteban Loaiza gave up just one run in six innings of work and matched a career high with 11 strikeouts. Dee Brown and Brandon Berger each had an RBI for Kansas City.
