Another baseball game between the Royals and White Sox was marred by fan interference last night. A fan ran onto the field after the 8th inning and attacked first base umpire Laz Diaz. The fan tried to tackle the umpire, but was quickly subdued by players and security. Several Royals kicked and stomped the fan while he was down. The attacker’s head was bloody and wrapped with a white bandage before he was put in a police car. The man’s name has not yet been released.
