The Cardinals three-game winning streak came to a screeching halt on Tuesday night. Garrett Stephenson gave up six runs in four innings as the Brewers beat the Redbirds 6-1. Royce Clayton and Richie Sexon each hit their fourth home runs of the season for Milwaukee. John Vander Wal also contributed two RBI. Eduardo Perez accounted for the Cards only run with a solo home run in the top of the seventh. Stephenson (1-1) took the loss. Ben Sheets (1-2) gave up just one run in eight innings of work and recorded his first victory of the season.
