SLU Tops SMS

St. Louis U. scored the game-winning run without a hit in a 6-5 win over Southwest Missouri State. The Billikens used a walk, a hit-by-pitch, a sacrifice and a ground out to take the lead for good in the seventh inning. SLU took a 5-1 after a four-run sixth inning. But SMS responded with a four-run seventh, before SLU won the game later in that inning. The Billikens improve to 12-18 with the win, the loss drops SMS to 19-14.
