Security measures at Kansas City International Airport are undergoing a review after a loaded gun got past security steps and made it on an airplane. The gun was discovered only after it went off when a baggage handler was moving checked luggage. No one was injured and authorities don’t believe the Florida woman who owned it intended any harm. Still, they want to know how it could be carried in luggage from Florida to Kansas City, with a stop in Dallas, and not be detected.
