St. Louis Congressman and presidential hopeful Richard Gephardt is expected to pick up his first big labor endorsement today. The International Iron Workers Union has indicated it will endorse Gephardt’s bid for the Democratic Party’s nomination for president in 2004. Iron Workers president Joe Hunt says Gephardt has stood up for labor from day one.
