A new Missouri group has taken advantage of the kick-off for the National Crime Victims’ Rights Week to make its public debut. Mothers With A Mission was actually formed in January by women who had suffered through their children being killed. A member says their mission is to make sure every child who dies of violence gets justice. The group wants changes in state law that would allow crime witnesses to testify with greater ananymity. They also want court dockets to include the name of the victim as well as the accused. And they want the state to form a group of investigators to take on the tough task of solving cases that have grown cold over the years. Mothers With A Mission joined several other advocacy groups at the History Museum in St. Louis on Sunday to kick off Crime Victims’ Week.
