Wildwood City Council Candidate Facing Possible Road Rage Charges

April 5, 2003 By admin Leave a Comment

One of the candidates for a city council seat in Wildwood in St. Louis County is in trouble with the law. Police are seeking warrants against Gerry Frank after an incident in which he allegedly chased a teenage driver in his car, shouted at the teenager, and waved a hammer at him. The warrants would be for road rage, disturbing the peace, and third-degree assault. Police say Frank told them the teenager was driving dangerously, weaving in and out of traffic, and that he yelled at the youth. As for the hammer, police say Frank told them he was carrying it for a work project.
