Royals Rally To Beat White Sox

The Royals used a seven run, two-out rally in the bottom of the eighth inning to beat the White Sox 12-6. Rookie DH Ken Harvey put the Royals on top with a two run, bases loaded single. Brent Mayne piled on with a three run homer. Angel Berroa scored on an error and Mike Sweeney drove in the last run of the rally when he walked with the bases loaded. Sweeney, who also homered, was 3-3 with three RBI’S. Reliever Ryan Bukvich got the win, pitching the 8th and 9th. The Royals now open up a weekend series with the Indians.
