Farmland Industries has agreed to sell most of its fertilizer business for $295-Million. Farmland, the nation’s biggest farm co-op at one time, is selling off assets to get out of bankruptcy. The biggest chunk goes to Koch Nitrogen of Wichita, Kansas. It includes Farmland’s 50 percent interest in a fertilizer plant in the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago.
