Major League Baseball has agreed to renew its licensing agreement with Rawlings Sporting Goods, and that clears the way for today’s sale of Rawlings by K-2 Incoporated, a company that makes skis, snowboards, fishing equipment and other sports gear. Rawlings, which is based in Fenton, is best known for baseball products, which K-2 does not make. K-2 says it will make Fenton the headquarters for its team sports division.
