The Missouri women’s basketball team advanced to the Elite Eight of the Women’s NIT with an 88-77 win over Ball St. at the Hearnes Center. Evan Unrau had 21 points and Stretch James had a career high 20. James also pulled down 11 rebounds. Tracy Lozier had 13 points, Melanie Fisher and Kerensa Barr had 10 apiece as five tigers scored in double figures. Mizzou hits the road for the first time in the tournament as they face Colorado State in Colorado Springs on Thursday night. Unrau is a native of Colorado Springs.
