If Chiefs owner Lamar Hunt has his way half the teams in the NFL will qualify for the post season. Hunt is pushing for a playoff system that would include 16 teams But Commissioner Paul Tagliabue says that proposal isn’t likely to hold water. A more comparable scenario is being considered. It would expand the playoffs to 14 teams. The owners meeting continues in Phoenix.
