Missourians are showing their support for America’s troops taking part in the war against Iraq. A support the troops rally at the State Capitol in Jefferson City drew young and old to send a message to the men and women in Iraq and to their families back home that there is a lot of backing for the current military campaign. Those attending and addressing the gathering included, Governor Bob Holden, Senator Jim Talent, west-central Missouri Congressman Ike Skelton, and northeast Missouri Congressman Kenny Hulshof. Also speaking to the crowd: retired Marine Colonel Don Ballard, who won the Medal of Honor for his service during the Vietnam War.
