More Missourians are headed off to war as members of the 1221st Transportation Company of the Missouri National Guard were sent off to probably a desert location during a deployment ceremony this afternoon in Jefferson City. Governor Bob Holden was on hand to wish the Guard members well. He told the soldiers how proud he is of their sacrifice, asking them to come home quickly and safely.
