Pavol Demitra scored two goals including the game winner in overtime as the Blues topped the Ducks 3-2. St. Louis took a 2-0 lead in the first period, but Anaheim rallied with two goals off Chris Osgood in the second. Osgood was solid the rest of the way, finishing with 24 saves. He’s 3-0 since joining the Blues in a trade last week. St. Louis moved to within five points of the Central Division lead and remain in fourth place in the Western Conference, two points ahead of the Avalanche. The Blues face the Red Wings at home tomorrow.
