SLU’s Season, Perry’s Career, End In Round 1 Of NIT

The season came to an end for the St. Louis Billikens last night with a 62-52 loss to Minnesota in the opening round of the NIT. The Billikens trailed 35-20 going into the half and never recovered. Senior Marque Perry ended his career with a 3-16 shooting performance and six points. He was an All C-USA pick and was 10th on SLU’s all-time scoring list. After winning eight games in a row, the Billikens ended their season with a two-game losing streak. SLU finished the season with a record of 16-14.
