The Drury Lady Panther’s season came to an end at the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Division II Tournament in Topeka last night with an 87-71 loss to top seeded Washburn. It was just the third season for Drury’s women’s basketball team. They finished with a record of 27-5. The Elite 8 will get underway next week on the Missouri Western campus in St. Joseph.
