Brathwaite’s Time Is Over With Blues

March 18, 2003 By admin Leave a Comment

The Blues, through July 1, will pay goalie Fred Brathwaite, but he won’t play or practice with the team. The Blues want to go with two goalies and those goalies are Chris Osgood and Brent Johnson. Since they don’t plan on keeping Brathwaite, the team won’t send him down to the minors. Brathwaite can sign with another team, but can’t play for the rest of the season. He was 12-9-4 with a 2.75 goals against average this season. The Blues are at home tonight against Vancouver.
