Holden Blasts House Republicans Over Budget

March 14, 2003 By admin Leave a Comment

Governor Bob Holden is again venting his frustration over the budget proposal put forward by House Republicans, who control that chamber. Holden insists Republicans are still making too many cuts and he says he won’t accept those cuts. Holden says Republicans have decided to side with special interests over the interests of school children. He adds other aspects of the budget plan will take Missouri in the wrong direction.
