The annual Public Education Evaluation Report – or PEER – is now available,comparing and contrasting the state’s various school districts. The Report breaks down the districts in such a way as to allow communities to compare their districts with those of other communities sharing similar socio-economic factors. PEER is a project of the University of Missouri and the Missouri Chamber of Commerce. Chamber President Dan Mehan says there’s a very good reason for the business community to be involved: Education is an integral part of any economic activity.
