St. Louis Archbishop Has Cancer

March 12, 2003 By admin Leave a Comment

The Archbishop of St. Louis has prostate cancer and will have surgery a week from today. Specialists say there’s no indication that Archbishop Justin Rigali’s cancer has spread. Rigali is expected to make his first public appearance after the surgery on Easter, April 20th. He’s 68. The archdiocese says the problem turned up in a routine blood test about a month ago.
