The Missouri Tigers 71-55 loss to Iowa State, may have done more good for the Cyclone fans than it did harm for Tiger fans. Earlier on Wednesday, long-time ISU play-by-play announced Pete Taylor died of a brain hemorrhage during surgery to treat complications of a stroke. He was 57 years old. Taylor spent 33 years as the voice of the Cyclones, doing both basketball and football. It was a eerie example of déjà vu for the Tigers. Two years ago, Missouri lost to Oklahoma St. 69-66 in Stillwater in their first game after a plane crash killed ten people, including players Nate Fleming and Daniel Lawson and play-by-play announcer Bill Teegins.
